Cotton motorcycles were produced in Gloucester from around 1920
(although it is possible that they produced a few machines from 1913),
by Frank "Bill" Cotton. The origional factory was shut in 1946, but
two enthusiasts persuaded Bill to open another factory in 1953, where machines
were built up to the 70'sCotton used several different engines in there
machines, including Rudge, Stumey Archer, Burney & Blackburne.
