An Excelsior Manxman.

Excelsior were the first British motorcycle manufacturers who started
in1896 under the name of Bayliss, Thomas & Co.The name was changed
in 1910. Here is an manxman from the 1930's. I have noticed the badge showing
here says Exocette, sorry, but I don't why, as it is definatly an Excelsior.If
you look closely you can see the three legs of the Isle of Man flag on
the rockerbox cover. |
