| Last Month (May-2010)
This Month, ....June I've now finished the updates for the motorcycle dealers, accessories
and training. If I've missed any they will have to drop me an e mail to
stores@dogdragons.com.
I've just had some good news, the man who funds this site is lending
me another professional camara, to use occasionally until we get the nod
one back. So we'll see what happens on Monday.
Photo's 3 bikes since last update on this page, one BMW, and Two
beautiful Rocket IIIs, check my H cafe
page to see them. Looks like I'm getting the hang of the camera, I
think the photo's are a bit better, but they do take much longer to upload,
think I can cope with that. I'll know for sure after this years Cassington
for sure (I usually take more than 150.... check my dies
section)
I went to Silverstone today for the Day of Champions. I enjoyed
myself. I don't know if the photo's I took will come out very well, but
never mind. If you've never been to one of these days, you've missed a
good opportunity to get close to some of the stars, and of course, you
missed Crash playing, (James Toseland ain't bad when his tonsils are warmed
up).
Looks like the photo's form the Riders
for Health - Day
of Champions came out ok, but I've not sussed the video I took using
the Lumix. Gutted it couldn't use the zoom when videoing, but got to say
the stills make up for it.
I got a problem, I went to the H cafe this afternoon (after watching
the MotoGP 125 race), I saw a Suzuki 500 twin two stroke. all original
and I want to take piccies for the web site. I've asked the owner to meet
me later today for bike night. But, I went to see a friend (Ex Hemel MCC)
in Abingdon, on the way back my clutch hydraulics pipe burst (or was tampered
with). The clutch gave up on the Oxford ringroad giving me a bit of a scare.
Fortunately I know how to ride without a clutch and I got home back home
without incident.
Yesterday I added another four machines to the H-cafe
pages. The best of those is defiantly the 1968
Suzuki T500.
Bradley Smith on first line (2nd on grid) for tomorrow's Assen
race, cool!
New Zealand North
Island sorted for now (although I might be able to find a few more).
& I'll be working on the south Island after I've published the Cassington
photo's. That might take some time though.... 410 good photo's on the list.
My favorite is the Scott Flying
Squirrel TT replica from 1930 (my grandad bought the road version of
those new). I'll start on them tomorrow (pain permitting)
New links for Ariel today
A few more piccies from this years Cassington.
I was asked to delete numberplates (too much greif and extra time....much
too much time, so I'm not doing many from this year no how many piccies
I took), as some have had them cloned. Seems as bit pointless with the
old stuff (you can read the numbers in the reflection on chrome mudguards).
Still if that's the club want, but they should also remember, I'm not the
only one with a camera at these sort of do's (Classic Bike magazene and
the like don't delete numbers either!). if they think it could be a problem
they should cover them up, or remove them (just like I used to do, for
a different reason though).

This goes out for ALL the brothers & sisters we have lost
I saw you,
hug your purse closer to you in the grocery store
line.
But, you didn't see me,
put an extra $10.00 in the collection plate last
Sunday.
I saw you,
pull your child closer when we passed each other
on the sidewalk.
But, you didn't see me,
playing Santa at the local mall.
I saw you,
change your mind about going into the restaurant.
>But, you didn't see me,
when I took time off from work to run toys to
the homeless.
I saw you,
stare at my long hair.
But, you didn't see me,
and my friends cut ten inches off for Locks of
Love.
I saw you,
roll your eyes at our leather coats and gloves.
But, you didn't see me,
and my brothers donate our old coats and gloves
to those that had
none.
I saw you,
look in fright at my tattoos.
But, you didn't see me,
cry as my children were born and have their names
written over and
in my
heart.
I saw you,
change lanes while rushing off to go somewhere.
But, you didn't see me,
going home to be with my family.
I saw you,
complain about how loud and noisy our bikes can
be.
But, you didn't see me,
when you were changing the CD and drifted into
my lane.
I saw you,
yelling at your kids in the car.
But, you didn't see me,
pat my child's hands, knowing he was safe behind
me.
I saw you,
reading the newspaper or map as you drove down
the road.
But, you didn't see me,
squeeze my wife's leg when she told me to take
the next turn.
I saw you,
race down the road in the rain.
But, you didn't see me,
get soaked to the skin so my son could have the
car to go on his
date.
I saw you,
run the yellow light just to save a few minutes
of time.
But, you didn't see me,
trying to turn right.
I saw you,
cut me off because you needed to be in the lane
I was in.
But, you didn't see me,
leave the road.
I saw you,
waiting impatiently for my friends to pass.
But, you didn't see me.
I wasn't there.
I saw you,
go home to your family.
But, you didn't see me.
Because, I died that day you cut me off.
I was just a biker,.....
A person with friends and a family.
But, you didn't see me.
Anon.
