Rubbers If you find that the rubbers have gone too hard to get on, and I mean the ones on the handle bars, and especially the ones between the carburetor to the air box and head. First place them in a bowl of boiling water, this softens them and make them easily manipulated.
If the rubber gets too cold after that, and if you cannot pour hot water over them, like for instance, my air box to carbs. rubbers, soak some old rags into the hot water, then wrap the rags around the rubbers.
Simple when you know, but can take ages when you don't.
