Speedo Cables
speedo & odometer connection.
1. Find the lower part of your speedo (connection is shown in the righ hand photo), this seems to be a unversal connection. It's the same for a '49 Guiller an '59 AJS and all the other models I have ever worked on.

2. Follow where the cable casing runs through the yolks, right down to where it connects to the Spindle (depending on make/model)

Inner cable, small square end

internal thread, just screw in/out

just below the speedo

3, Below are three of the main type of connections to the drive, usualy fitted on the spindle on the front wheel. Find the type your machine has. and click onto the photo's below for more information.

Inner end- Usualy has a groove which fits onto a spade in the drive.

Note if you have an electric speedo, and it breaks, don't ask me how to fix them. This is just about cables.
