Rocker removal |
1.
I can see and feel the flat spot in this rocker. |

I remover the cover using an impact driver. I use threadlock on therse when I replace them. on this model there are threads in the rocker shaft. |

I place a small washer over the rocker cover... |

then a few more and a bolt long enough to fit into the thread in the shaft and I turn the bolt using a spanner. |

Then I remove the bolt, add more washers, and replace bolt again I tighten it, this draws the shaft out further each time. |

The bottom washers must have big enough holes to... |

allow part of the shaft to clear the casing. adding more of these you can pull the whole shaft free for inspection. |
8.
Eventualy the rocker comes free. To refin thaft, just use a drift and light hammer and tap it back into position. |
