Wooler 500 flat four 1954 Photo's and info from David Kenny (many thanks) 
Wooler 500cc flat four at the Bremen classic show this month. This machine was owned by Laurie Fenton, it originally had a plunger frame and was reputedly a late addition to the Wooler stand at the 1954 Earls Court, appearing only part way through the week. It was refurbished and converted to swinging arm by Ron Wooler in the early sixties, before being shown on the Daily Mail stand at the 1964 Earls Court Show. It is now in the care of the Hockenheim Motor Sport Museum. |
