This machine won the 500cc world manufacturers titles for 1950 & 1952 Ridden by Umberto Masetti

This Machine won the 500cc world title for 1953,1954 & 1955 ridden by Geoff Duke
Modifactions from the earlier machine include new exhaust pipes
The oil sump beneath the crankcases, has been lengthened and thined, as well as "finned" to help heat loss
This also ment the engine could sit 3" lower. The frame was also compleatly re-designed
Other innovations included a 5 speed gear box a Lucas rotating magnet magneto. The fork legs have also been shortened saving weight and according to Mr Duke, handling was improved.
